Micro Gravity Investigation

Gravity measurements provide information on the densities of geological units by making precise measurements of the gravitational field of the earth and how it varies pointwise. The gravity method is relatively fast, economical and can be used for both small and large-scale surveys. The technique has a wide range of applications, from geological surveys to studying the structural integrity of infrastructure.

Gravity (Micro Gravity) surveys are used in the following areas:

• Description of karst and Obruk areas
• Space sensing in urban environments
• Determination of bedrock depth
• Mapping of intrusions and faults
• Mapping of filled basin sedimentary structures
